Clever Minds is offering week-long summer workshops for elementary and secondary students!
- Vocabulary explosion, Grammar Blast, Excellent Essays
- Rigorous Reading, Math Mania, Divide & Conquer
- Functioning with Formulas, Getting Witty with Math
- Splash Into Spanish, Dive Into Spanish
Each workshop includes 4, 3 hour sessions.
All workshops are held Monday - Thursday, 9 - 12 PM
$300 per workshop / $200 deposit to hold your space.

*The Readiness workshops involve a review and preview of
math and language arts skills necessary for the upcoming school year.
2011 Summer Workshops Descriptions
Dive Into Spanish
Immerse yourself with advances skills including complex conversation, broader vocabulary, knowledge of topics, and literature analysis.
Divide & Conquer
Multiply math skills by mastering multiplication and diving into division. Fractions, decimals, and word problems will also be of focus.
Excellent Essays
Work through the writing process to perfect your paragraphs and create the most excellent essay.
Fun With Science
Study various aspects of our natural and physical world through hands-on projects and labs.
Functioning With Formulas
Get comfortable and reinforce skills using mathematical formulas in the world of algebra. Learn critical formulas and strategies for pre-algebra and algebra success.
Getting Witty With Math
Engage in math skills involving probability, problem solving skills, and logic with games, puzzles, and brain teasers.
Grammar Blast
Writing sentences of varying structure will increase students ability to use grammar correctly.
Math Mania
This workshop is designed for students needing to work on addition, subtraction, carrying, borrowing, and word problems.
Rigorous Reading
Work on critical reading skills by exploring several genres of literature. Learn active reading strategies to increase your understanding of text.
Splash Into Spanish
Go a little deeper by expanding basic knowledge of Spanish vocabulary, verb tenses, and basic conversation.
Step Into Spanish
Get your feet wet in the Spanish Language. Learn the alphabet, vocabulary, and introductory topics.
Vocabulary Explosion
Students will expand their knowledge of words and their meanings by learning roots, prefixes, and suffixes. Watch their ability to understand and use vocabulary explode!
