Individual Tutoring, Homework Assistance, and Enrichment
This package is for students in grades K-12 who need reinforcement of classroom or developmental skills. An individualized curriculum and goals are created according to California State Standards for the student’s grade level. The students meet one-on-one with the same teacher for an hour each session. A progress report will be given after the student has completed 12 sessions.
*Goals from Individual Education Plans will be used when a student is in special education.
Group Tutoring
Group Tutoring is similar to the Individual Tutoring, Homework Assistance, and Enrichment package except that students meet in groups of 3-5 students. Students meet with the same teacher each session. Groups are created according to ability, grade level, and content area. We also invite parents and students to initiate their own groups.
Winter Athlete / Home-School Program
Clever Minds offers our Home-School program for students who receive their education from an alternative learning facility or are competitive athletes and require assistance with their schooling while traveling. This program is considered a very worthwhile and flexible concept for many of our students as we completely curtail the program to fit each students needs and situation. Clever Minds offers grade specific literacy, fluency, reading comprehension, writing, ESL, and AP-level coursework.
Math
Clever Minds offers tutoring in elementary concepts, middle school math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and AP Calculus.
Science
Clever Minds offers tutoring in elementary science, earth sciences, physical sciences, biological sciences, chemistry, and physics.
Clever Minds provides tutoring for all K-8 subjects, Ancient Civilizations, World Cultures, Geography, World History, US History, Government, Economics, and AP-level coursework.
Foreign Language
French – all levels; Spanish – all levels.
Enrichment
Clever Minds can provide enrichment for any subject at any grade level.
Home-School & Independent Study Support
Clever Minds offers primary instruction for students enrolled in an alternative learning program. Schedules are created to meet individual instruction and curriculum needs.
